Crash Landing was a sensory interactive theatre project created by my incredible friend Rhiannon for both D/deaf and hearing audiences. The show followed Zoe, a space explorer and her adventures in space and it produced as part of the Deaf and Disabled arts festival. Crash landing was one of my first experiences as creative captioner and I had a lot of fun creating the world with Rhiannon.
The brief was to create a hand made, hand drawn world to match with the set design created by Rhiannon which took the form of a full tactile tapestry in which the audience was invited to interact with the world.
